The Ordinary – What’s the hype?

What is it?

The Ordinary have been going strong online for the past year and just recently,  have launched into Brown Thomas.

What is mental about this is that they retail for as low as €5,  drastically low then the usual skincare price point in Brown Thomas.

I picked up:

Salicylic Acid 2% ,

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

I also picked up the Natural Moisturising Factors + HA.

Salicylic Acid – For congested skin and to reduce the appearance of Spots,

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% – For oily/congested skin prone to breakouts,

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 – To penetrate hydration deep into the skin,

Natural Moisturising Factors + HA – For surface Hydration.

Any Changes?

I have to say, since I have been using the products (About 3 weeks now) I have noticed a difference in my skin.

Most notably, how it looks. It has a far healthier and dewier look. I have found myself using less and less highlighter because my skin is naturally holding a healthy shine.

Each of the products were no more then around €6 and have already proved to be affective in ways that products I spent upwards of €50 have not been able to do.

There are a few more products from The Ordinary that I plan on picking up – mainly, ‘Buffet’ and the ‘Glycolic Acid Cleanser’

If you have been considering checking out The Ordinary I highly recommend you do! It is affordable and have products for different skin types. I would recommend going on The Ordinarys website to look at the product combinations you can use as not all products are compatible with each other!
