Event: Sleek Blogger Brunch

I was recently invited up to Dublin to attend the launch of the new Sleek spring/summer collection.

Now that I am able to attend events full time, I was super excited to finally be able to journey up.

The Trip and Location:

I left Galway on the 8:05 train and arrived in Dublin at 10:30. I ADORE travelling by train so I was super eager and not to mention my student discount makes it super cheap!

I will be the first to admit that I am not good with directions. My boyfriend is my compass in all aspects of life!

HOWEVER, Declan was working today and couldn’t come with so I had to brave it alone. I tend to get horrible social anxiety at times and it can be crippling – so this big adventure up was a lil daunting!

The brunch was in The Woollen Mills right by the quays. So essentially, I couldn’t get lost.

I took a long hard look at the Luas outside Heuston station and decided I would walk it. It was a 30 minute walk but the weather was good so why not.

The Event:

The layout was gorgeous, It was set in a terrace upstairs in the restaurant. The tables were beautifully set out with a meal menu, goodie bag and face chat for taking notes on.

The menu was incredibly extensive.  I choose a steak with spinach, fried egg, roasted tomato and chips.

There was also cocktails that waitresses constantly refilled – which were DELICIOUS

Sleek Masterclass:

Before we ate our meal we were treated to a makeup demo by a highly experienced makeup artist named Warren on his beautiful model Emily, showing us all the tips and tricks to achieve this seasons makeup looks.

The new collection:

The new additions to the Sleek family for Spring Summer are glorious new summer shades for the Matte Me Lip cream and Lipsticks!

This colours are going to go so beautifully with any skin tone. I cannot wait to see how the dusty rose lipsticks look against my pale skin!!

The event was so well run and the set up was beautiful, Thanks so much to Sleek Makeup Ireland for inviting me and I can’t wait for the next one!

PS: The selfie mirror was just perrrffection!!
